I'm looking forward to being part of the UW Rethinking Leadership Conference once again this year. I had the chance to participate last year, as well, and it was a fantastic event! Many great speakers, advanced topics, and rich discussion among participants.
This year, I'll be talking about Loyalty; session details and registration information is below. The conference runs from 8:30 am - 4:15 pm.
We often hear about loyalty as the answer to many of the challenges we face in our organizations related to retention, engagement, and creating healthy cultures and strong teams. But is loyalty as we have traditionally thought of it really enough, especially in today’s working environment, where U.S. workers spend an average of 4.2 years with their current employers? During this interactive, collaborative, and thought-provoking session, we will explore this question together, along with tools and strategies to raise the bar for our teams and our organizations.

- Examine the benefits of loyalty and how to cultivate it within our teams and organizations.
- Identify the limitations of loyalty and how it can actually prevent us from creating a culture of trust and transparency.
- Uncover specific, actionable ways to increase trust, improve communication, and increase our results by taking the conversation a step further than loyalty.
